A good friend of mine brought this scripture to me a few years ago and I immediately connected with it. Stress comes from expectations and not having faith, whether it be in God, a higher power or just about anything that leaves you powerless to a bigger agenda. Once we accept that we are powerless against what is the bigger picture or master plan than we can accept that the way it plays out is actually just as amazing or even better than we could have ever imagined. Sometimes, we catch ourselves in the dialogue that we deserve something or that we are entitled. This is self sabotage.
Sitting in the confidence that everything and everyone has a purpose in the stories of our lives gives us the grace and ease to know that we are truly blessed in every outcome. There is always a bigger picture.
